Trained as a physicist, I then qualified as a teacher and went on to gain further qualifications in counselling and life coaching. I now work from home as a life coach and as a private tutor, running 2 businesses.

My favourite colour is purple. I love Beethoven and Doctor Who, and I also love Guylian Seashell chocolates, and a white wine called Sancerre.

I live with my lovely fiance - Tim (Timpootle), - with 2 cute cats, and our friend/lodger James (starshaped75). As well as Tim, who I have been with since 2004, I also have other partners** - more details about them within the journal itself.

**I am polyamorous, which means I have honest, open and committed relationships with more than one person at a time, and everybody involved knows about all the others. It is not swinging, since it is more about relationships than about sex. I feel genuine love for, and committment to, the people that I am involved with.
